Proverbs 11:25 tells us, “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” This verse reveals a powerful truth—when we give freely, we not only bless others but also receive God’s blessings in return.

Generosity is one of the wisest investments we can make. It goes beyond financial giving; it includes our time, kindness, encouragement, and love. When we pour into others—offering a helping hand, a kind word, or support in times of need—we reflect the heart of God. His design is that as we refresh others, we ourselves will be refreshed, experiencing the joy and fulfillment that come from selfless giving.

Many people hesitate to be generous, fearing they will be left with less. But God’s wisdom assures us that generosity leads to abundance, not lack. He blesses those who give with open hands and hearts, ensuring that their needs are met and their spirits are renewed.

Today, let’s seek opportunities to be generous. Whether through a simple act of kindness, an encouraging word, or sharing what we have, let’s invest in others. As we do, we will witness the beautiful truth of God’s promise—when we refresh others, we, too, will be refreshed.
